Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28 in 1967) is an American performer and actress. She began her professional career as an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a automobile salesman.
