Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she has also produced and performed in her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son, born on the 8th of January 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle is her younger sister, and she's an artist. Benson was raised in the Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Since Buffy ended Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. In the background, Benson used her talents as a writer to write the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy estimates that at least 1800 Slayers are in existence and that 500 are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayers can now be awakened as they reach an appropriate level of age. Soledad, for example was awakened when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell is set to be the character Rowena for the season 10 of Supernatural. She is apparently an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
