Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Julia Fiona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Early in his life his father became obsessed by the theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions on and off the campus. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in the year 1957. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
