Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at age five. Her family lived mainly living in Orange County. She earned her degree in the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was when she also got her big break in acting. Pernas she had appeared in brief appearances on NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part as Marisa in The Young and the Restless, was a familiar face on the soap opera. After her exit from the soap-opera Jane the Virgin in 2016, the actress was cast as Catalina the character that appeared on the show regularly. The four-language model has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from the year 2019 to 2020 she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas was with her former The Young and the Restless co-star Justin Hartley. The romance came after the This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November of 2019. Pernas Hartley tied the knot secretly with Pernas on May 20, 2021.
