Following her departure from the soap-opera in 2016, the actress landed an appearance in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, proficient in four different languages, has appeared since in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She portrayed Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between the years of 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been in a relationship with Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. It was revealed that Chrishell Stause (the spouse of This Is Us actor) left him in November 2019 Pernas and Hartley began to date. Pernas Hartley was married privately with Pernas on May 20, 2021.
