The album was particularly successful in Canada, Australia and the U.K. Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier success, and catapulted her into superstardom. The popularity of Swift only grew with her following three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017) and found her moving assuredly into the realm of pop where she already belonged. Even though she had slowed her work with folklore and Evermore releases in 2020 she was nevertheless in the forefront of pop music.
